Listing Details
Our destination is the famous beach of Tigania
A beach beside Kriaritsi of Sykia, up to the suggestion unknown to most, for many years Tigania was a paradise for very few and you only found it if someone called you who already knew it and gave you directions to find it, even so it was very difficult to find, a complicated route that very often loses through the streets in the surrounding area.
So, Tigania is actually a terrestrial paradise of Sithonia, so wild and so beautiful at the same time, in fact Tigania consists of three small beaches in the series that are all connected together and create the Tigania, this beach must definitely see it close and dive into its crystal clear waters and you will just fall in love with it at first glance and only so you can tell how you really saw all the beauty of Sithonia.
It has everything that makes it irresistible, wild, infinite beauty, magnificent views, pure turquoise waters and a golden sand that does not stick to you.
For many years, Tigania used as a nudist beach, there were tents of free campers on all the beaches, and from the beginning of the season until the end of September there was a lot of people and many foreign visitors were welcomed on a daily basis.
What's around there
Nearly anything close to where the Tigania is in a deserted location long from the main road.
Closer is Kriaritsii Beach, but it's a bit hard to get there, one that you will need to wander around the many labyrinthine streets in the area.
Nearby is the Klimatria beach, which is also organized beach.
There is a seafront bar built on the cliff that joins the two beaches and you can find sun loungers and umbrella seating.
You can find there food served as well as coffees and drinks.
How to get there
To find the right road that will lead you to Tigania is as we said above is a bit difficult, so we will try to give you as much detailed instructions as possible.
There are two options to get to Tigania, the first is via the coastal road that starts from the beach of Sykia.
From the main road of Sithonia, coming from Sarti, the first kilometer after the crossing of Sykia and after you continue straight on the road you will find the road to the left leading to the beach of Sykia, there is a sign on the road, but for easier , just look at the Hatzis baker's shop, then turn left on the road that will take you to the seaside.
In the next 500 meters you will turn right on the hill to Skala Sykia or Pigadaki (40.035017, 23.989282), you will pass the following small beaches in the order that I write to you.
First you will pass from Linaraki, after Pigadaki ,you continue on the road and after you pass the Tourkolimniona from the upper side of the road you continue for a long time on a narrow asphalt road that will take you to Klimataria.
At the intersection of the road that flies left to Klimataria, you will turn right under the bridge and climb over it through a small dirt road (coordinates 40.031528, 24.009508).
After climbing right on the bridge, follow the arrows that are painted on the road.
If you follow them very carefully, you will be in Tigania.
The other route starts from the main road of Sithonia, which leads from Sykia to Kalamitsi, where you will meet
a bridge that passed over the central road, you will find the crossing leading to Kiaritsi (40.018338, 23.986717).
In the beginning the road is a dirt road but in a bit again you find asphalt, you will follow this central road to the point where you will find a big bridge
(40.025130, 24.003271), there you will turn left to the point where you need to turn right (40.028060, 24.001313) to find yourself after a few meters on the Klimataria bridge, from where you will continue straight to find the Tigania Beach.
From the starting point of the asphalt there are directional arrows painted on the road so you will not get lost.
Some tips
Both routes have a small degree of difficulty, but the directional arrows will help you a lot, so keep your mind on them.
The nodal points that give you the coordinates will help you enough to find the points that you have to turn.
To avoid crowding at the beach of Tigania it is best to visit it in the early hours or the low tourist season of the season.
Take great care in the many streets in the area, forming a labyrinth that can make you lose the your way, do not panic, just follow the larger and broader road and soon you will find some signs that will put you back on your way.
Parking at Tigania beach is a bit difficult, do not hesitate to leave your car up, even if you need to walk a little longer.
One that you are here, do not miss the chance to visit one of the oldest and most traditional villages of Chalkidiki, Sykia, and walk through the paved alleys.
